*Outstanding Woman of Business - Barbara Breza

Barbara is a respected business professional, who has worked as a Custom Training Representative for Minnesota State College - Southeat Technical for over nine years.  She has served numerous businesses throughout the Winona region by helping them with their workforce training and economic development needs.

*Outstanding Woman in Education - Cindy Althoff

Cindy is the Director of the Miller Mentoring program at the Winona Senior High School and the Winona Middle School.  She has quietly but profoundly helped students by connecting them to community members.

*Outstanding Woman in Human Services - Mary Hewett

Mary is Executive Director of the Winona County Developmental Achievement Center (DAC).  She has devoted her career to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

*Outstanding Woman of the Arts & Humanities - Lynette Power

Lynette is an accomplished artist who created the original cast for the popular Blue Heron Project in Winona.  She is the owner of the Rivertown Pottery business.

*Outstanding Woman of Land & Home - Sharon Flatten

Sharon is a professional volunteer, who has a wonderful enthusiasm for life.  Sharon worked as the office manager for Gorman Company for over 27 years, and was the only full-time female employee during that time.

*Outstanding Woman in Government - Susan Cooper

Susan has served as the Assistant Winona County Attorney for over 18 years. She displays a quiet competence that her colleagues respect and she knows her subjects areas completely.

*Outstanding Woman of Health & Wellness - Patti Volkman

Patti is the Director of Nursing at Lake Winona Manor.  Her love for helping others is the reason she chose her profession.  Her outstanding work ethic serves as an example for those around her.

*Outstanding Young Woman (22 & younger) - Angela Buck

Angela is a student at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and has excelled academically. She gives of her time and talents in many ways including leadership positions in Habitat for Humanity, Outreach Ministry Team, Girl Scouts and many others.
